This retreat is for you if you want to practice yoga and meditation daily, gain knowledge on breathing practices, experience the beauty of the Annapurna Himalayas and immerse yourself into the yogic lifestyle and local culture. On this yoga retreat, you will get a chance to: - Practice yoga, including breathing techniques (pranayama), on a daily basis. Beginners will get the chance to get a taste of yoga and build a good foundation for their yogic journey. More experienced yogis will deepen their practice and gain further inspiration for their ongoing yoga journey. - Practice walking meditation, guided meditation and experience a unique sound bowl healing session - Learn about the local farmer life, the local herbs and ayurveda - Taste organic healthy foods and specialties - Wake up to stunning sunrise views on the Annapurna Himalayan range Pick-up from Pokhara and return transport is provided. It is a local village where life is slow and peaceful - an ideal spot to immerse yourself in your yoga practice. From here, the views on the Annapurna Himalayan Range as well as the surrounding hills and towns are just stunning. Annapurna Eco Village in Astam offers spacious and bright private rooms (Queen sized bed) with attached bathroom. There is a huge garden as well as a big, newly built and inspiring yoga hall where we can practice. From all rooms we have views on the Himalayan mountains.
